Hallway Heroes

The Hallway Heroes program at Hoffmann Lane Elementary is one of the most successful volunteer programs in the district! Each year, we invite all dads, grandads, uncles, brothers, moms, grandmas, aunts, sisters, or special friends to choose a day to spend with us and their child at school. Our Heroes help in the classroom, out on the playground, and in the cafeteria.

Anyone wishing to sign up MUST complete a Volunteer Background Check before they can participate in the program. Background checks may take up to TWO WEEKS to be approved. Your background check MUST be APPROVED in Raptor before your scheduled Hallway Heroes day. If your background check is not approved prior to your scheduled day, you will NOT be permitted to volunteer as a Hallway Hero.

On their scheduled day, Hallway Heroes are asked to sign in through the front office to receive their badge, a radio, and a customized daily schedule. Arrival time is 0700 (7:00 am) to assist with morning drop off and make it to announcements with your child. We ask that you follow your schedule while on campus.
